Charlotte is the Managing Attorney and Founding Member of Javelin Law. She excels at advocating for employers on Workers' Compensation and Employment Law issues. She has extensive experience representing clients at the Department of Labor and Industries, Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals and Superior Court levels on Workers' Compensation matters. For employment law matters, she has experience at the administrative level with discrimination claims, and experience drafting forms, policies, procedures and handbooks. Charlotte has more than fifteen years experience in Workers’ Compensation and Employment Law in Washington State and presents on Workers’ Compensation and Employment Law issues.

Charlotte is happy to help clients on any Workers' Compensation, WISHA or Employment Law issues. If there is any issue outside of her practice areas, she will gladly connect clients with legal professionals in her network who practice in the appropriate area of law.

Charlotte graduated from Boston University’s College of Communication with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 2004. She graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2009. She spent her third year of law school at Seattle University School of Law as a visiting student. Charlotte loves the Pacific Northwest and has experience volunteering for the Washington State Bar Association’s Pro Bono and Public Service Committee, the King County Bar Association’s Neighborhood Legal Clinics Program and Washington Parks as a Forest Steward.

Noah Skavhaug

Noah Skavhaug

Noah is committed to providing quality legal representation to employers in Washington and is experienced representing employers at the Department of Labor and Industries, Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals and Superior Court levels. Noah's medical background as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for more than four years and working at an RSV vaccine research lab for more than a year provides him with an excellent foundation to tackle highly complex medical issues for employers.

Noah graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He also attended the University of North Dakota School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. He became a member of the Washington State Bar Association and joined Javelin Law in early 2024.

Madison is a dedicated advocate for employers on Workers’ Compensation and Employment Law issues in Washington State. With a background in Civil Defense Litigation, Madison has been providing excellent advocacy for employers since joining Javelin Law in February of 2025.

Madison has a background in working in International Legal Issues and has worked with various international organizations based in Morocco and Mexico.

Madison graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a Specialization in Criminology and went on to earn his Juris Doctor at Seattle University.

Alanna Lake

Alanna moved to the Seattle area after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in social science and communication and shortly thereafter, obtained her Paralegal Certificate at the University of Washington. Alanna worked initially at Perkins Coie LLP in commercial litigation before joining team Javelin, initially focusing on medical record management. Alanna obtained additional training, certifying as a Washington State Public Records Officer where she served the City of Oak Harbor before relocating back to Seattle and rejoining Javelin Law.

Some of Alanna’s favorite volunteer opportunities have been teaching art to kids and adults, helping rescue animals including exotic birds, farm sanctuary residents, and marine life as a former docent at a local whale education center. When not reading the fine print, Alanna enjoys reading poetry and other artistic pursuits, including synchronized swimming as well as taking her rescue pup to local beaches where they open swim and find beautiful driftwood sticks.
